Dreaming of some Tara Shaw

It’s probably because her headquarters is in New Orleans that’s why I adore Tara Shaw so much. Every piece just brings me back to the Garden District. Well, her antique reproductions are so spot on and flawless, each piece looks like the real thing. Right now, I’m wishing for these goodies…

Top to bottom: a cupboard for the dining area, settee for the Foyer {love the Swedish look}, I never tire of looking at chandeliers like this—for the bedroom, perhaps?, giant urns for the front door
It looks like I’m going for stately in our next home….Happy Weekend everyone!

About Maureen

Details are my passion. From curating vignettes to designing spaces. I thrive in finding the finds and just discovered the art of collecting...all while sipping on a cafe au lait & a french macaroon in hand.

  1. I met her at the Atlanta show and she was SO nice…really…talked to me for about 20 minutes and it was the last day of the show. I know she was exhausted. Her reproductions are the best. Love that first piece also!

  2. gorgeous!! i love the garden district too. so pretty. nothing like that here in oklahoma. i really love the first 2 pieces, but especially the bench! i can think of a million places where that would look good.

i had surgery for Chronic Compartment Syndrome in my right shin. have you heard of it? i get a walking cast on tuesday and wear it for a few weeks and then i’ll be doing physical therapy after that or during…i can’t remember. my email is: annaelder@ymail.com. im curious to know if you’ve helped people with chronic compartment syndrome before.

    thanks!! 🙂
