5 Unique Christmas Tree Ideas

I’ve always been attracted to outrageous or innovative decor.  And I particularly love decor that turns holiday traditions on their head.  So what better tradition to flip than the Christmas tree?  Although I love the look, and smell, of a newly cut evergreen tree covered in lights and ornaments, it’s always fun to see different spins on this familiar decoration.  Here are a few of my favorites:

1. The Wall Tree

This tree seems like a great idea for collectors out there, as it’s a great way to get to see and appreciate every special ornament.

2. The Wooden Tree

I’ve expressed my love of wooden pallet crafts in previous posts, but I think I might have found a new favorite!

3. The String Tree

How clever is this??  What a great way to decorate and display all those awesome Christmas cards!

4. The Rainbow Tree

I absolutely LOVE rainbow Christmas decor!  Sure, it’s not quite as chic as my all-time favorite combination of white, gold and silver, but it is cheery and bright and heck, just a lot of fun!

5. The Candy Cane Tree

I had to throw this last one in there, as it looks like something out of Dr. Seuss or Willy Wonka!  Now all of a sudden I’m craving mint…hmmm

Hope you enjoyed these fun and funky trees, and maybe even found some inspiration in here for a unique look for your own home.  Happy Thursday!
