Design Board to Reality: Project Frazier Kitchen

Hello everybody! I hope everyone is just as excited as I am for the holidays… I already decorated my downtown apartment for Christmas and have been listening to carols non-stop since Thanksgiving was over… Bring on the cold weather!

Today, I thought you all would enjoy seeing the amazing progress at one of our recent projects in south Austin. You won’t believe how similar the design board is to how the kitchen at Project Frazier is actually turning out. There is obviously much more work to be done, appliances to be put in, etc., but it sure is coming together nicely!

Scroll down to see the ideas from the design board come to life in this young couples’ cute kitchen…

Handmade Tiles…

My very favorite part about this kitchen is the backsplash comprised of navy and white handmade tiles. They are nothing like I have ever seen before… Each one is perfectly unique and when put together, the patterns made a almost traditional Spanish design. LOVE how this turned out.

Mint & Brass Cabinetry…

We decided a paint color called Mint Condition Sherwin Williams 6743 for the kitchen cabinetry. The cabinetry that we chose was by Kitch Cabinetry and Design and they did an amazing job, right?!

I love the brass details for the cabinet pulls… This pallet of colors is unique, soft, and very inviting. Once this is finished, theres no doubt in my mind that the couple will host many dinner parties in here!

Fluted Farmhouse Sink…

How amazing does this fluted farmhouse sink go with everything… It fits in perfectly, I’d say. We bought this sink from White Haus Collection and all of our faucets were purchased from Pirch.

Sneak Peak: Powder Room

Here is a little sneak peak of the powder room floor tiles…

I love the bold contrast between the glazed white and black hexagon tiles and think it adds more of a retro feel to the home overall. These porcelain mosaic hexagon tiles by EliteTile were purchased from Wayfair.

That is all that has been done in that space, so far, but I will give you all more updates as this powder room progresses!

We couldn’t have done any of this without our fave people at Quick Residential Solutions! Thanks so much guys for working hard to get this kitchen remodeled just as we dreamed and in a timely manner.

As you can see from the design board, there are still many components to be installed – such as the Kitchen Hood in White Brushed Brass by Big Chill, the Eternal Statuario countertops by Silestone, and the Stove in White Brushed Brass by Big Chill.

We are so pleased with how this south Austin kitchen remodel has come together so far and are even more excited for how it is going to look when it is completed! Stay tuned for more updates on Project Frazier…

Have a great first weekend of December!

Greta

Project Progress: Pretty in Pink

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had as amazing of a weekend as I did at Austin City Limits. I am seriously considering going back for Weekend 2 just so I can see the Red Hot Chili Peppers all over again… They were by far my favorite show out of them all.

Anyways, as I am sitting here reminiscing about my past few days, I thought that I’d share one of my favorite “in-progress” projects with all of you to make your Tuesday brighter. Although there is more work to be done to complete her new crib, I am already in love with all that its turning out to be. Here are a few photos I took of my favorite accessories and decor (so far). Enjoy!

Living Room + Dining Room

Every accessory from the blush oriental rug to the magenta agate coasters screams girl time. The pink and navy accents that Maureen incorporated throughout her home add pops of color that cheer up the open layout. Everything from the table books to the wallpaper was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the client’s bright personality. How FUN would a happy hour with friends be in this posh space.

1/ “When Art Meets Design” Table Book

2/ Dining Table, Layla Grayce

3/ Pom Pom Rug, Anthropologie
